I got a little envelope in the mail today with Shane’s handwriting scribbled on it. I quickly opened the letter to find a tiny zip drive, wrapped in a tiny note. You know what he did [in the kicked him in the penis voice]? He gathered up all of the eps/cover songs that Mumford and Sons have recorded and put them on that zip drive. So now, I have the complete collection - everything on the cd plus.I also have a zip drive [lost my other one, and the one before that too]! Hhhmmmm. I can’t wait to be in the same place as that boy.
That’s 1 Exxon Valdez spill every 4 days.
People, I am getting scared! How long before we start seeing oil wash up on shores all along the east coast? Are we just going to run out of oil completely so we have no choice but to finally find alternatives? This is a real crisis. Major lifestyle changes for all Americans, right? It makes me want to never own a car again and stop eating seafood. The latter would be extremely difficult.
I don’t even have a good understanding of how disastrous it really is. How many years will go by before the ocean and coastlines will be back to normal? 10 years? 50? 100? Never? If I was a hysterical end-timer, now would be the time to preach about the end of days, as we must certainly be helping it come sooner. Is it selfish to hope I don’t have to live through it?
Ok. Reblogging isn’t as bad because I don’t have to put in a lot of effort. But for realzzzz. I have been thinking these same thoughts myself. How do you clean up this mess? It’s suppose to sweep around the peninsula of Florida and then up the east coast if it hits the Gulf Stream. Bye Bye, Florida economy. Fuck. It’s SO bad. I am bringing my bike to San Antonio [in addition to my car] and despite the heat, I really really really want to avoid using the car. Hopefully we can find a place that is close to EVERYTHING!
