express christmas.
This weekend was filled with parties. Okay. Just two parties, but they were both awesome. On Friday, we attended a Teach for America Christmas gathering at The Witte, which was very much identical a high school homecoming dance (minus the speeches, plus the alcohol). The DJ was similar in that he would play the same musical genre back to back. For instance, two salsa songs in a row, or two rap songs. But whatevs. He played Look at Me Now and that’s all that really mattered.
Saturday’s event at the Dewar-Reamer’s was one of the best holiday parties I’ve ever been to and that was mostly because the food was to die for. Props to Katie and Jeff for preparing a delicious turkey! After we all overcame the food coma, we played games and watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. It was classic.

Let the feast begin! The food was seriously the best holiday food I’ve ever had. No offense, Goodspeeds, Ryans and Morris’. Asparagus? Polenta Lasagna? Yes please.

Elliot decided it was time to put his contacts in (for the very first time) during the middle of dinner. I had to document.

Then came the part of the night where we played Jenga… a modified version.

Stop, drop, and roll.

Figuring out the new system.

My camera started to go blurry towards the end of the night. whomp whomp.

We ended the night by watching Sophia Grace and Rosie on Ellen and drinking hot chocolate. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, please click on these links in order to receive a proper education:
